Maasai Ceremonies and Rituals There are many ceremonies in Maasai society including Enkipaata senior boy ceremonyEmuratta circumcisionEnkiama marriageEunoto warrior-shaving ceremonyEokoto e-kule milk-drinking ceremonyEnkang oo-nkiri meat-eating ceremonyOlngesherr junior elder ceremonyetc. Traditionally, boys and girls must undergo through these initiations for minors prior to circumcision. Men will form age-sets moving them closer to adulthood.

When you get to the bus station there are often several buses, you may want to try and get the first departing bus. The last bus departs at around 2pm.
